SoundScape Trio

Praised as "fantastic" and for performing with "masterful talent," the SoundScape Trio is a dynamic chamber ensemble noted for performing diverse and exciting repertoire. Founded by flutist, Mary Matthews, cellist Pablo Issa Skaric, and pianist Joshua Horsch, the SoundScape Trio seeks to immerse audiences in engaging performances of both classic and new music.  

Having recently made their triumphant debut at the Newport Music Festival, the SoundScape Trio performs throughout the United States and internationally. They have been featured performers at the Goethe Institut Música Nueva Festival in Santa Cruz and the Jornadas de Música Contemporánea in Cochabamba, Bolivia. As an ensemble, the trio has presented chamber music workshops and masterclasses at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, Las Orquestas Sinfonicas de Tarija, and the Laredo Institute.

During the 2013-2014 concert season, the trio can be heard in concert in Bolivia, Brazil, Columbia, Hartford, CT, Boulder, CO, Cleveland, OH, and Washington, DC.  They are members of Chamber Music America and Fractured Atlas.  Visit for more information.
